Crystal Valley Donates $5,000 to Jackson County Food 4 Kids

This morning, Crystal Valley employees presented a check for $5,000 to Jackson County Food 4 Kids to help support their mission "to provide meals for food-insecure children in Jackson County on non-school days throughout the school year." With this donation, 14+ kids will have food available for an entire year!

The program provides food packs to four local elementary schools for weekends and holiday breaks. Volunteers work together to pack food once a week, and then they are delivered to the local schools. A food pantry is also available at the JCC Middle School, where on average, each student can take home about 10lbs of food.
