Nicollet Public School Playground Project Receives $7,500 from Crystal Valley

Crystal Valley is proud to support the initiative to build a new accessible playground facility at the non-profit daycare center located at the Nicollet Public School. With the help of matching funds from Land O’Lakes and CoBank, a donation of $7,500 was given.

The current playground is not inclusive and is unavailable to students with mobility issues. Furthermore, it does not meet current safety standards, including having a shade structure for children playing.

The Greater Nicollet Area Foundation is spearheading the charge to raise funds for the school and has been working hard to raise $170,000 of the more than $220,000 needed to make this happen. To learn more about this project, you can visit their fundraising page: Nicollet Playground Project.

Representatives from Crystal Valley presented a $7,500 check to the Nicollet Public School towards their fundraising efforts for a new, inclusive playground.
