Merger Vote Not Approved by Members
We would like to inform you that the proposed merger between Crystal Valley and New Vision Co-op was not approved.
Crystal Valley and New Vision Move Forward with Member Vote
Crystal Valley and New Vision cooperatives are pleased to announce that after a thorough merger study, the Boards of Directors for both organizations have agreed to move forward with a member vote. This vote will determine the potential unification of the two cooperatives.

Crystal Valley Annual Meeting & Board of Director Results
The Annual Meeting of Crystal Valley was held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the cooperative’s main office, 1911 Excel Drive, Mankato, MN. Chairman Dean Sonnabend announced the results of the mail-in ballots for the following business items: 1) approval of the minutes of the January 25, 2023, Annual Meeting; 2) acceptance of the FY2023 Financial Audit Report; and 3) election of two directors to the Crystal Valley Board of Directors.

Crystal Valley and United Farmers Cooperative Merger Study Update
The boards of directors of Crystal Valley and United Farmers Cooperative met together on Wednesday, May 31, to evaluate the findings of the merger study of our two companies. After thorough consideration and much discussion, the decision was made to NOT proceed with a member vote on the merger at this time.
