Our intent with this project was to completely rebuild the planter with new wear parts, and all brand new precision planting technology. With the highly anticipated USDA report coming out last Monday, I think it is safe to say that it shocked most people with the outcome. Corn prices plummeted after the USDA report forecasted higher corn plantings and planted acres. Chris Whitehead - Grain Marketer

While the main office staff will be moving to Mankato, Crystal Valley will maintain its Agronomy, Energy, and seasonal Grain operations in Lake Crystal.  Patrons will still be able to stop in the Agronomy office to transact business, make payments or inquire on their accounts. We will continue to use the grain offices on the west end of the main office for receiving grain. Roger Kienholz - CEO

The only thing normal about this marketing year has been the seasonal selloff we have seen in the past three weeks.  The bulls are hoping that will come to an end with the release of the August 12th, monthly WASDE report.  Kyle Leary - Grain Marketer
